Taylor Swift Falls for Bad Boy in Dark "I Knew You Were Trouble" Video
Taylor Swift done got herself into a pickle in her latest video, "I Knew You Were Trouble." But that's what always happens when you fall for the bad boy, ladies.
The Anthony Mandler-directed "Trouble" (Rihanna's "Diamonds," fun.'s "Some Nights," Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me") opens with a lost pink-haired Taylor who's alone and bewildered in the middle of some post-Coachella aftermath (or something). Then: the dramatic monologue. During quick flashback scenes of her latest dangerous, combustive romance, eternal dumpee Swift describes her heartache (a la the beginning of Rihanna's "We Found Love"): "I think that the worst part of it all wasn't losing him... It was losing me." PREEEACH.
After that, the real action starts, and we learn just what kinds of things Taylor Swift considers "Trouble": Making out at bars! Pink hair dye! Motels! Tattoo parlors! Cops! Raves! "Not raves!" you scream in horror. Yes, raves.
In the end, Taylor's left all by her lonesome once again, which proves the kind of acting chops this chick's working with. In real life, Taylor's actually winning every single game she's playing right now—No. 1 album in the country, 23 years young, dating Harry Styles, etc. So maybe she just needed an excuse to wear a half-pink wig in a video. In which case, we don't blame her.
