Chief Keef May Have Violated Probation With Pitchfork Video
Chicago rapper Chief Keef might end up in jail as a result of a video he filmed last summer for Pitchfork Media. The video shows the "I Don't Like" rapper, who is serving 18 months probation for aiming a gun at a police officer, firing various firearms at a New York shooting range. Prosecutors argue the footage violates the terms of Keef's probation, which prohibits him from having firearms.
Chief Keef made headlines last month after he wrote controversial tweets regarding the murder of his alleged gang rival, Lil Jojo. The tweet, which was quickly deleted, mocked Jojo's death, saying "Its Sad Cuz Dat N----- Jojo Wanted to Be Jus Like Us #LMAO.” Keef would later claim his account was hacked.
After the incident, Pitchfork pulled the gun range video from their site, but not before Chicago prosecutors were able to take a look.
