Listen: Kanye's 'Cruel Summer' Jam "Clique," ft. Jay-Z & Big Sean
Kanye West’s “Clique,” aka the song in which ‘Ye references Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, was droppedin full yesterday. While it’s not the strongest song released so far from the upcoming GOOD Music complation, Cruel Summer, it’s definitely has its highlights. There is, of course, Kanye rapping about Kim's tape: "Break records at Louis, ate breakfast at Gucci / My girl a superstar all from a home movie," which good for him, the past being the past and all that. The song also has Jay-Z doing some drug dealing math ("Turn that 62 to 125/ 125, to a 250/250 to a half a --/man ain't nothin' nobody can do with me 250 to a half a mil") and speaking Spanish ("Vamanos!" and "Jefe.") Basically, you could teach a 7th grade class using only Jay-Z’s verse. And Big Sean’s contribution is solid, too.
For more about Cruel Summer, here's everything we know, as of almost one month ago.
