Lady Gaga celebrated the launch of her Fame fragrance at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City last night, and she decided to get a cherub tattooed on her head in front of everyone while she was there. According to sources, Gaga also took an hour-long nap inside of a giant replica of a bottle of the perfume and peed into a champagne pail while at the party, so the live audience tattoo was likely NBD.
Gaga recently debuted a half-shaven 'do which she dedicated to photographer Terry Richardson in honor of his late mother. She tweeted, "I did it for u Terry. I'm sorry about ure mommy." According to E! Online, the tat is supposed to be an homage to Gaga's Italian heritage. At least if she hates it in 10 years, all she has to do is grow her hair out.
If watching a woman get a tattoo on her head in the middle of a party isn't artsy enough for you, how about Gaga's short film, "Fame," which she also debuted at the party. We've tried to piece together some kind of plot from the previews we've seen, but now that we've watched the whole thing, we can officially say we have no clue what's going on here. We're not really sure what it has to do with perfume or wanting to smell nice—Gaga is seen in the clip (appearing as four or five different characters) covered in black goo. It could be a commentary about succumbing to the world of celebrity, or it could just be yet another reason for Gaga to be nearly naked in front of a large audience (ding, ding, ding).
