It was only a matter of time before the youngest member of Kings of Leon followed suit and tied the knot.
People Magazine reports that Jared Followill, 25, married (of course) model Martha Patterson, 21, after a 5-month engagement, in an outdoor ceremony in Charlotte, Tennessee.
Followill tweeted a snarky message to his fans: "Today, I get married. It's the biggest step I've ever taken. I've dreamed about this day since I was a little girl.” While later tweeting a sweeter message: “Aaaaaand I'm married. Happiest man in the world,” that included a beautiful black and white image of the couple.
As we reported earlier this year KOL frontman Caleb and wife Lily Aldridge had their first baby in June, as did drummer Nathan and wife Jessie Baylin, along with cousin, and lead guitarist, Matthew and wife Johanna Bennett.
We’re thinking the next album from these guys will be a lot less “Sex on Fire” and be more like “Honey, We Need Milk.”
