FUSE TV - Katy Perry To Take "Extended Break" From Music
Considering Katy Perry's been promoting her crazy-successful album Teenage Dream since 2010, we're not blaming the "Wide Awake" singer for taking a little bit of time off. According to U.K.'s The Mirror, Katy revealed that she'll be taking an extended break in order to "let her heart heal" following her recent split with husband Russell Brand. The split will be documented in Katy Perry's upcoming movie, Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D, in theatres July 5.
Katy and Russell were married for 14 months before Brand filed for divorce in December of 2011. But just because she's taking a break from her career doesn't mean she's calling it quits on the relationship front. When recently asked if she was afraid of falling in love again, Katy responded "absolutely not." Line starts down the block, fellas.
