Skrillex, Justice, Neil Young Join Green Day at 2012 Voodoo Music Experience
We already dropped one bomb Monday night (May 14) with the news that Green Day's only North American festival appearance of the year at Voodoo Music Experience 2012. Now we can reveal that Skrillex, Justice and Neil Young will join the punk trio in New Orleans on October 26-28. Nice. And if you don't feel like going home each night, festival organizers announced that they will be offering on-site camping for the first time in the festival's 14-year history.
While a full list of performers has yet to be announced, bluesman Gary Clark Jr., experimental rock group Tomahawk, L.A. emo band Say Anything, funk pioneer Bootsy Collins and Dixieland group Preservation Hall Jazz Band are all confirmed to perform.
Voodoo Fest has been bringing an eclectic host of major artists to New Orleans' City Park since 1999, snagging the likes of Eminem, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ozzy Osbourne, Nine Inch Nails, R.E.M., Duran Duran and Deadmau5.
Tickets are available at TheVoodooExperience.com.
