Watch: Fuse Has a Major Crush On Aussie Psych Rockers Pond

I love Australian psych-rock band Pond. They're rad. Why, you ask? Because their new album Beard, Wives, Denim is packed with fuzz-bomb guitar riffs and dreamy, druggy melodies, like their brothers in sound Tame Impala (the bands share two members). Also, they're hilarious dudes and that sentiment comes across in their music, too—they don't take this too seriously, and their sound benefits in all its fast-and-loose glory. Just imagine a hybrid of Pavement and Jimi Hendrix, and you're somewhere in the same territory that Pond live. I basically just want to be friends with these dudes.

The Pond guys heard I was a fan and decided to drop by Fuse HQ in Manhattan during their last tour stop in New York City. Hilarity ensued. Watch above. Then listen to some of Pond's best tracks, including the Beard, Wives, Denim gem "Fantastic Explosion of Time" and their heavy cover of Smokey Robinson's "Tears of a Clown."
