Nathan Sykes on the 'Personal Stories' of His Debut Solo Album: Fuse First Interview

Nathan Sykes is breaking out. After rising to fame as one-fifth of The Wanted, the U.K. singer-songwriter is preparing his debut solo album where, for the first time, his most intimate moments will be shared on record. A prime example of that personal songwriting: his John Legend-esque ballad and new single, "Over and Over Again" (below).

We're proud to name the 22-year-old as the latest Fuse First artist, and sat down with the pop star and Ariana Grande collaborator to get insight about his upcoming solo declaration:

"It's definitely a pop album, I love pop music, but there's a lot of different elements I've put into it that makes it my sound. There's a lot of personal stories that I never thought I'd tell people. I never thought I'd be able to pour my heart out so much, but day after day I was surprising myself. It's been a lot of fun. I'll tell what you the tricky bit is: trying to not make it obvious who the songs are about."
