The pitch, from YouTube channel Infectious Designer ("independent short films inspired by video games and science fiction") and director Brian Curtin (who had better be imminently conscripted for one of the three Star Wars non-trilogy offshoot movies), is simple:
"One day Vader and Fett will recruit for the the dark side, disguised as an electronic music duo... they will be arresting ears and administering intergalactic rhythm and beats. The Rebels won't stand a chance. This is their music video, featuring 'Dj Gonk.'"
And like that, we're watching, rewatching, and re-rewatching a Star Wars video where the erstwhile Anakin Skywalker and the Sarlacc's favorite bounty hunter snack are outfitted in Daft Punk-ish suits, oozing Daft Punk-ish cool, sneaker-strolling around a city in a not long-ago time in a galaxy very not far away.
