Chromeo's P-Thugg and Dave 1 chatted with Fuse at SXSW 2014 about their new album and collaborating with Toro y Moi's Chaz Bundick.
White Women, the band's first album since 2010's Business Casual, will be out May 12, but fans already have a taste of what the new music will sound like. "We put out four singles before the album came out," Dave 1 says. "And the four singles are like small contained mini-EPs. We knew a lot of our core audience wanted to get their hands on Chromeo music beforehand."
On their single "Come Alive," Dave 1 says this is the first time Toro n Moi's Bundick has collaborated on another project. "Girls really love Chaz..." Dave 1 says. "So we decided to become friends with him and get him on a song."
