Country rocker Eric Church hit Austin City Limits Festival like a hurricane this year—seriously, his set was more metal than country. We sat down with the "Smoke a Little Smoke" singer and learned that most of his favorite musicians have been known to do just that.
"I've always been a big proponent of that side of life and that side of music," the Southern rocker tells Fuse. "Some of my favorite music was made by artists who were blasted out of their minds. I'm a big fan of that—the blasting and the music."
Church also says that after his 2012 single "Springsteen" went No. 1 on the Country charts, he got a letter from the man himself, which he calls his "most prized possession." Watch the full interview above and check out our review of his heavy-as-hell ACL 2013 set.
