Kelly Clarkson Teams Up With Vince Gill for Twangy Single, "Don't Rush"
We first heard a bit of Kelly Clarkson's twangy sensibilities when she collaborated with Jason Aldean on his 2010 track, "Don't You Wanna Stay?" Now the native Texan is showing off her country chops again on the Vince Gill-assisted "Don't Rush," the second new single from her upcoming Greatest Hits - Chapter 1 album. (Check out the first single, "Catch My Breath.")
Kelly has her guard down on "Don't Rush," as she's crooning about actually praising her man instead of giving him the middle finger as she does on most of her tracks. The "Mr. Know It All" singer is casual and laid-back on the track, which has us thinking she feels right at home in the country arena. That brings to mind one very important question: When are she and Taylor Swift finally gonna jump on a track together? We can't wait much longer.
Kelly Clarkson's Greatest Hits - Chapter 1 drops November 19.
