About Still Standing

When twins Justin and Johnny were 14 years old their lives were turned upside down when their father, seminal guitarist Tony Santoro, died. The years to come were turbulent. After an excessive downward spiral the twins realized that they had only each other to depend on and a basement full of their father's guitars. They taught themselves how to play and later found their purpose in music. The brothers began writing songs and playing with other musicians in order to create the right combination for a band. With the addition of Alex Z. and Lonny Paul, Still Standing was formed. The band has developed a strong fan base by playing any gig that they possibly could. They're growing it the old fashioned way, one delirious teenager at a time.
