FUSE TV - Pearl Jam Announces 2016 Tour; Bonnaroo, Fenway & Wrigley Dates
It’s going to be a big spring and summer on the road for Pearl Jam, including huge headlining slots at Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, and at Bonnaroo. The Seattle rockers’ just-announced 2016 tour kicks off April 8 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and runs through Aug. 22 in at Wrigley.
The Fenway shows, on Aug. 5 and 7, mark the first time PJ will play the famous ballpark. The band returns to Wrigley for a double-header on Aug. 20 and 22. The only previous PJ Wrigley gig, in frontman Eddie Vedder’s hometown of Chicago, was an epic July 2013 date that they were able to rock until 2 a.m. despite a three-hour thunderstorm delay.
