Fuller House is finally arriving on Netflix sometime in 2016, and while that year is only 23 days away, it’s hard not to be a little bummed that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are not taking part in the Full House revival. So how will Fuller House explain the absence of the lovable youngest of the Tanner daughters, Michelle? Well, sometimes truth is very, very similar to fiction.
According to Us Weekly, characters on the reboot will casually mention that “Michelle is now living in New York City and working on creating her fashion empire.” If that sounds similar to what Mary-Kate and Ashley are actually doing now, that’s because it is! The NYC-based sisters have created an empire with lines like the Row and Elizabeth & James.
