Mumford & Sons Should Cancel This Ill-Advised Rock Album Right Now
The banjo wasn't so bad. Mumford & Sons started walking back their love for the old-timey front-porch instrument almost as soon as they won Album of the Year and became one of the biggest bands in the world, and now we see how wrong they were. The English band's third record, Wilder Mind, scheduled for May 4, is purposefully devoid of acoustic instruments, and man, is it going to be a drag. RIP, suspender-folk. In this chloroform-rock era, we'll miss you.
