Pharrell & Robin Thicke Perform at Walmart Shareholders Meeting
When Pharrell signed on to perform at the annual Walmart shareholders meeting, you'd think the irony of singing "Happy" to full-time employees who are forced to use food stamps to eat would have dawned on him at some point.
Apparently it did not, so the R&B maestro and his "Blurred Lines" compatriot Robin Thicke headed to Arkansas today to perform the hits for Walmart executives, a few employees and Chairman Robson Walton—who was recently called out for heading up the least-charitable rich family on earth—at their annual shareholders meeting.
Speaking of "Blurred Lines," the corporate giant is currently under investigation for alleged bribery of officials in Mexico, so presumably that was discussed by corporate suits in-between Thicke singing "Get Her Back" and Pharrell doing "Frontin'."
