Floyd will forever be in the heart of Miley Cyrus, but the pop star has added a brand new furry bundle of love to her family, and she's thrilled about the arrival of Emu Coyne Cyrus.
It's been a rough couple of months for Cyrus: some clowns broke into her house and made off with her Maserati (which was thankfully found), she had to get a restraining order against an obsessed fan and stalker, she had to cancel a string of Bangerz tour dates due to a severe allergic reaction, and she lost Floyd, her beloved dog who was killed by a coyote back in April. She's since resumed the Bangerz tour, the jerks who robbed her have been apprehended, and she's taken to Instagram and Twitter to gush about her new Rough Collie.
Miley's been posting a few photos of Emu, who shares a middle name with her good pal and new collaborator, Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips. We're glad that Miley's got another reason to smile, and it seems like Emu's the perfect canine companion for the pop star. She's got enough love in her heart for Emu and Floyd's memory, and it shows. (This portrait of Emu that Miley blinged out is especially fantastic.)
