T.I. Taps Iggy Azalea & Travis Scott for "Hell You Sayin'"
T.I.'s Grand Hustle label is one of the most interesting in major label rap, and its eclecticism is represented on "Hell You Sayin'," a new track featuring Iggy Azalea, Young Dro and Travis $cott slated for a SXSW-inspired mixtape.
Produced by Atlanta mixtape mavens/EDM crossover dabblers FKi, the song rides the smooth lilt of T.I.'s deep Southern drawl before ceding the spotlight to solid rap verses from the three guests, though T.I. does slide through as well. Young Dro especially shines, kicking a hilarious Airhead joke.
The song will appear on SXEW (South By East West), a new mixtape from DJ Whoo Kid, DJ Skee and DJ MLK. If it strikes you that "East West" doesn't really make sense, don't worry: A lot of things about SXSW don't really make sense.
