Watch Rick Ross' Paranoia-Soaked "Nobody" Video
"Nobody," Rick Ross' latest single off his new album Mastermind ft. French Montana & Diddy, is essentially a re-work of Notorious B.I.G.'s classic album cut "You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You)," except the weight of the original has been lifted in the service of detached mafioso fantasies.
Ross' new video tries to bring some of that original paranoia back by sketching out a character-driven story, but that story—featuring stalkers and police interrogation—is mostly incoherent and hard to follow. The highlight of the video is the stark cinematography captured in the screencap above, with florescent lights reflecting off of Ross' perfectly circular sunglasses. As he exhales smoke, looking commanding and wealthy, we're treated to as perfect and accurate a representation of his character as we've seen in a while.
