Listen: Jay-Z's "Holy Grail" ft. Justin Timberlake
On July 4, while much of America flipped burgers on the BBQ, guzzled domestic beer and narrowly avoided blowing off their fingers with illegal fireworks, Jay-Z's latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, arrived to one million Samsung users.
If you, like me, have an iPhone, well, Jay-Z's Life + Times website is streaming first single "Holy Grail" in advance of the album's arrival to the masses on Sunday. The title track features Justin TImberlake crooning the silky-smooth hook, and Hova name-checking the chorus to Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (don't worry, he got Courtney Love's permission). Listen above. And for more Magna Carta, check out the LP artwork or, if you're in England, go check it out at Salisbury Cathedral next to THE ACTUAL MAGNA CARTA (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
