Fall Out Boy Stream 'Save Rock and Roll,' Featuring Elton John and Courtney Love
Fall Out Boy couldn't hold it in any longer. The Chicago pop-punk band are streaming their comeback album, Save Rock and Roll, a week ahead of the release date.
It seems like FOB called all their famous friends for an appearance on their fifth studio album, including music legend Elton John on the title track and musician/crazy lady Courtney Love for the sing-along-worthy "Rat A Tat" (above). Also, Big Sean shows up on "The Mighty Fall," and don't forget about the 2 Chainz remix of "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'Em Up)." Not that we're suggesting it, but we wouldn't be mad if someone hacked Pete Wentz's contact list.
"This album is one that is particularly close to us," Fall Out Boy said in a statement. "We recorded it in secret from the music industry, critics, and even our fans... We made this music for ourselves and no one else at the end of the day. This is meant be played loud, with the windows down on summer nights. Four friends with our backs to each other fighting in the darkness against anything and everything that is out there. We bowed our heads, took a knee and plugged back in. From the first strings to the last shouts—this is us."
