Michael Jackson's Son Prince Lands First Job as TV Reporter
Most 16 year olds land their first job as a lifeguard, babysitter, dishwasher or a food server. Michael Jackson’s 16-year-old son? He’s starting as an on-air reporter for Entertainment Tonight, the show announced.
Prince Jackson debuts tonight, February 19, as an on-air correspondent for the celebrity news show. ET gave an exciting kickoff to his career too; his first interview was with Zach Braff, James Franco and director Sam Raimi on their upcoming film Oz The Great and Powerful. (The same film Mariah Carey recorded a new song for)
In a teaser for tonight's episode (watch above), fellow reporter Brooke Anderson commented, “You’re 16 years old, but you seem so much wiser.” Jackson responded with, “It was all thanks to my dad who raised me right.”
And it looks like The King of Pop's son will stay away from the music business and focus on the screen. He also told ET he hopes “to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor.”
Not a bad first bullet point for the resume, Prince!
