Maroon 5, Neon Trees & Owl City Announce 2013 Tour Together
While the Rolling Stones only have those scant two U.S. concerts on the books, Adam Levine is preparing to move like Jagger all over North America in 2013.
Maroon 5 announced 31 concert tour dates that will take them everywhere from Detroit to New York, Los Angeles to Philadelphia over a three-month period starting February 13 in Columbus, OH.
The "One More Night" boys picked Neon Trees and Owl City to open for each one of these 2013 concerts, which is a pretty sweet treat for anyone in attendance. (Incidentally, Neon Trees' zombie-fighting "Everybody Talks" clip and Maroon 5 & Wiz Khalifa's "Payphone" video are both competing for the title of No. 1 Video of 2012, so be sure to cast your vote for that over here.)
Now let's take a moment and give Levine props for touring next year in addition to his mentoring gig on The Voice. That double-duty is even more impressive when you recall that lazy ole Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green had to take time off from the show to fit in some stage shows next year, forcing Usher and Shakira to take over coaching the spring season's contestants. What a couple of underachievers! (We kid, we kid. But seriously, Levine is making them look bad.)
