It's easy to want to dislike Pitbull—that "Give Me Everything" song is the guiltiest of pleasures—but it's becoming increasingly difficult. Ever since David Thorpe at SomethingAwful.com got the entire Internet to send the rapper to Middle Of Nowhere, Alaska (Kodiak, to be exact) via a promotional campaign with Walmart, we've been following the beat like real journalists or something. And we're elated to report that Pitbull actually went to Kodiak, he brought Thorpe along for the ride and both avoided bear attacks of any kind.
Pitbull and Thorpe took to Twitter to keep us up to date on the goings-on (or lack thereof) in the Last Frontier state: Pitbull met with adoring fans outside of a parking lot with three cars in it, Thorpe and Mr. Worldwide came face-to-face for the first time, and the "Pause" rapper put on a rousing show for the people of Kodiak, complete with native Alaskan dancers.
A weird and fun time was had by one and all, and somewhere along the line this hilarious picture (above) was taken inside of Kodiak's Walmart. But here's the very best part: After Pitbull finally met Thorpe, the man responsible for sending the world famous rapper to the most remote part of the country, Thorpe tweeted some serious worlds of wisdom, "Just met Pitbull. He shook my hand and said 'Keep bulls***ting. Next thing you know we’ll be on the moon.'" BRB, unfriending all of my pals who've ever dissed my main man Pit.
