Go On a Tour of Marky Ramone's Food Truck
What do you do after drumming for punk legends The Ramones and Richard Hell & The Voidoids? You get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, win a lifetime achievement GRAMMY Award, and start up Marky Ramone's Cruisin' Kitchen, a food truck mainly planted in the East Village steps from his old haunt at CBGB!
Cruisin' Kitchen started after Ramone's famous pasta sauce was picked up by celebrity chef Daniel Bouloud in his restaurant DBGB (one block from the old CBGB). Sitting in DBGB, Ramone says, "I came here with Tony Bourdain, who's a friend of mine, and we were eating and Daniel happened to have been here. He's a big fan of music and he loves the stuff I did with the other Ramones so he found out that I had a sauce out and the next thing I knew, it's on the menu and it's being sold here, so what more could you ask for?"
So watch the video above and let us know if you'd want to eat some of Marky's meatballs below!
