FUSE TV - Alicia Keys' Upcoming Album Inspired By Hubby Swizz Beatz, Infant Son

Alicia Keys recently took to YouTube to tell her fans what to expect on her upcoming album, and she also gave us a mini therapy session in the process. Keys has been in the studio for the past eight months recording the follow-up to her 2009 album The Element Of Freedom, and she wanted to let us know how "crazy excited" she is that the album's "about to be ready."

Keys chatted candidly about how her life's changed since marrying husband Swizz Beatz and having son Egypt in 2010, and she said that her new music will reflect those life changes. "I've gone through so much growth and so much realization," Alicia said. "I've learned that I had to trust myself and trust my instincts... So this music I've been creating has really gone through that journey with me. So much of the music that you're going to hear, it's talking about what that feels like."

While there's no release date set for Keys' new album just yet, Alicia assured us the "time is approaching."
